The Swedish government has announced a new military aid package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The information appeared on the government website of the country. The new package will be worth $314 million and will include ammunition and spare parts for CV90 infantry fighting vehicles and Stridsvagn 122 (also known as Leopard 2A5) tanks. Both weapons are already in use by Ukrainian defenders.
In addition, Sweden is also going to transfer to the AFU equipment for demining the territory and trucks. Deliveries of weapons should begin in the near future. Sweden has already transferred military aid to Ukraine in the amount of $1.57 billion.
