Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has released shocking drone footage which they claim shows Hamas beating civilians and stealing aid in the Gaza Strip.
The IDF says the clips show terrorists hijacking aid trucks, beating civilians, and transporting food and supplies to a Hamas stronghold.
Drone footage, shared on X/Twitter, shows men loading up the back of a pick up truck with bags of what the IDF claim is humanitarian supplies.
A closer shot from the same clip shows one of the men lifting a weapon or baton of some kind over his right shoulder before bringing it down to beat the man in front of him.
And further appalling parts of the footage show two people beating a third as they lie defenceless on the floor.
IDF spokesperson Avijaa Adraei, who posted the footage, said: “Hamas men beat and steal food and humanitarian supplies from residents of the Gaza Strip.
“In videos taken by the IDF, Hamas members appear to take equipment from civilians, load it onto a Hamas car, beat civilians, and then drive their cars to a location known to be linked to the movement.
“Hamas leaders do not care about the people of Gaza and their suffering. Hamas is the enemy of the people in Gaza.”
In a separate clip shared by an American lawyer, a similar white pick-up truck loaded with hooded gunmen appears to drive off, leaving a pile of supplies on the road.
Civilians then storm the pile, seemingly fighting over the few resources to spread between them.
The beginning of the clip also shows an enormous truck, apparently laden with strapped-in goods, driving through the same road with armed men riding on top of it.
The caption claims: “Hamas loots humanitarian aid and guards it at gunpoint.
“The civilians don’t get the humanitarian aid in Gaza — Hamas does.”
And further unverified footage apparently shows a number of humanitarian trucks entering Gaza from Egypt as Hamas terrorists hijack them.
The caption claimed: “Moments after trucks with humanitarian aid enter Gaza from Egypt, Hamas terrorists show up to loot them.
“Desperate and angry Gazans start throwing rocks at them and rush toward the trucks, but are forced back by warning shots fired by Hamas terrorists.”
In a rare interview last week, an elderly Palestinian woman accused Hamas of stealing aid in a TV interview.
She said: “All the aid goes underground. It does not reach all the people.
“We came here from Gaza city … all the aid is meant for us. I am not afraid, I am talking to them as well.
“Hamas takes everything to their homes. They can take me, shoot me or do whatever they want to me.”
Following a temporary pause in fighting where hostages were released, combat has resumed in the Gaza strip and the war-torn enclave continues to be pummelled.
Hamas fighters appear to be outnumbered and overwhelmed by the IDF and Israel has claimed many of them have surrendered.
